General F150 Discussion - 33s on Stock Height - Hey guys, Looking to buy a new set of tires for my 2020 F150 Sport 4xe with 18 wheels and was looking to get 275/70/18 as opposed to ny current OEM 275/65/18. Looks like a 1.1 difference in height. I am trying to get them on without rubbing or trimming.

Received 2,123 Likes on 626 Posts. Toyo makes an A/T II tire in 295/70r18 that is 34.3" tall and 11.8" wide They also make a 285/75r18 that is 34.8" tall 11.3" wide. Here is my truck with 295/65r20 tires. which are 35.1" tall and 11.8" wide. It is a F350 with 2" leveling in the front and stock rear.

My plan is a 2.5" Icon leveling kit, Top Gun Customz dual steering stabilizer with Bilstein shocks, and 35x11.5s on my stock wheels. Hopefully it'll turn out looking good and won't rub. Maybe. Most 12.50 tires are designed for 8.5" width rims at minimum. 9-10" is recommended. Stock wheels are 8 inches wide. There aren't too many 12.50s that will fit 8" rims based on factory documentation. The Toyo R/T and M/Ts, for example, require an 8.5 minimum. A 12.5" wide technically is too big for an 8" wide OEM wheel. They need a minimum of 8.5" wide wheels. Most shops won't mount those even though plenty of people do it with success. Check the Facebook 2017+ SD page and 2020 SD page. They literally post pics daily of 35s and 37s on OEM wheels.

However, when I come across a picture online of a lifted/leveled truck with 13.50's on the stock wheels, I'm getting a huge variation in "how bad" the rubbing is with the wider tire.
